InnoVisions
“Nothing is perfected at the same time it is invented.” These words attributed to Cicero over 2000 years ago are of particular significance for the invention and further development of PVC windows at our company.
Not only have we developed the PVC window for series production, but also our developments have been setting standards on the market.
The highlights of our history
| 1954 | “The Troisdorf Miracle” – TROCAL launches the first series-produced PVC window. |
| 1967 | TROCAL 100 Series – production of the first rigid PVC window profile featuring the multi-chamber system. |
| 1972 | TROCAL files a patent for the first Color profiles (AcrylProtect) with PMMA surfaces. |
| 1975 | The first PVC window with surrounding centre seal is presented on the market. |
| 1983 | The TROCAL 900 Series centre seal system is successfully launched. |
| 1987 | Yet another invention from TROCAL – the corner connectors for residential doors that immediately became the standard on all doors. |
| 1988 | TROCAL files a patent for the first regrind profile that was awarded the title Product of the Year in 1991. |
| 1992 | The first aluminium cladding system is presented. The TROCAL AluClip system, now optimised, has become established on the market. |
| 1997 | The presentation of the TROCAL elegance profile sets new design standards. |
| 2000 | The InnoNova 2000 five-chamber system forms the basis for current developments. TROCAL PolyPro presents an alternative material to round off the product range. |
| 2003 | Launch of the new profile system generation TROCAL InnoNova_70 as a centre and weather seal system. |
| 2004 | TROCAL InnoVisions are unveiled to a broad public at the fensterbau/frontale 04 trade fair; these form the basis for further projects with future potential. |
| 2006 | The latest TROCAL launch AluFusion is an all-new window generation. This unique marriage of aluminium and PVC-u combines the advantages of both materials. |
